PRINTING SPECS

Artwork specifications.

Everything you need to know about preparing artwork for custom printed counters, frames, and signage. If you have a question that isn’t covered here, send a note before placing your order — we’d rather flag an issue early than mid-production.

What art file formats do you accept?

Preferred: A hi-res .PDF with outlined fonts and embedded images.

Accepted: .EPS, .TIFF, .JPEG, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop files.

What resolution should my file be?

Full size at 150 DPI.

What color mode do you print in?

CMYK. Files supplied in RGB will be converted, which can shift the on-screen colors slightly. If you need exact color, see the color matching section below.

Do I need to provide bleed?

If you’re submitting artwork inside one of our templates, you don’t need to worry about additional bleed — as long as your artwork extends to the edge of the template artboard, the template compensates automatically.

If you’re submitting custom artwork, we need a minimum of 1–2 inches of bleed on all four sides. Large or custom jobs often require 3–4 inches of additional bleed.

Color matching

If exact color matching is a concern, specify the PMS colors at the time of order submission or artwork upload.

All PMS colors will be converted to CMYK unless specified otherwise.

A $20 fee per color applies for color matching services.
